I'm in a job that has me traveling around the world living in foreign countries. I've heard horror stories of people being forced to evacuate from some countries that have problems and they have to leave their animals behind. That would kill me to leave my four cats behind in a dangerous situation. As a result, I do not even consider countries that may require an evacuation.
